It was 1917, Louis was an average 23yr old male, before he was drafted into the war.
He left behind his wife of 4 years, unwillingly of course. He wasn't cut out to be a soldier, he wasn't good at aiming or shooting guns. He often wrote letters back to his wife though he didnt love her. He just wanted to hear from someone who loved him. He had exactly one friend in the army, he was a chubby, short man who always stood up for Louis. Louis was, infact, a closeted homosexual. But besides that, after just a few months fighting in the war he "mysteriously" disappeared, no one knew what happened to him. They assumed he was taken by another camp and stopped looking for him after only a couple of days.
Louis woke up, in the middle of a forest, 87 years later.
